We will meet in the parking area near the Chapel of San Xiao, which was built in the early 18th century on a Romanesque church.
During this tour, we can appreciate the beauty of this Natural Park, the first declared in the entire Galician community. We will also learn about its history, and its value and importance, not only at the natural and scenic level but also in terms of heritage, as here we find remains of the longest ancient wall in Galicia, of which many meters can still be seen. We will walk trails that may have been traveled over 20,000 years ago, since Monte Aloia was surrounded by up to 5 citadels with their corresponding hill-forts.
A little bit of history, botany, biology, and hiking. All in one tour that will fill your lungs with fresh air.
